Hayk Khachatryan, General Secretary / CEO
Hayk has been combining the position of ANUY and Spitak YMCA Executive Directors since September 2012. Hayk started in the YMCA as the head of the ANUY Spitak Project in 1998, and since 2002 he has held the position of Spitak YMCA Executive Director. Before joining the YMCA movement Hayk worked for UNHCR office. Hayk is a graduate of Yerevan State University, Faculty of Physics with the qualification of a physicist.
Qnarik Melkonyan Administrative and programs’ assistant
Knarik has been employed by YMCA ANU since October 2014 , as a administrative and programs’ assistant. Before that she worked as a incoming and outgoing tourist manager at ANG Lori Travel Agency . Knarik Melkonyan has been an active volunteer of Vanadzor YMCA since 2007. She has volunteered and participated in a number of YMCA trainings, camps, and exchange programs both in Armenia and abroad. She is a graduate of Vanadzor State Teachers’ Training College (VSTTI), English Department (2005- 2007) and Institute , Philological Faculty, Bachelor of Pedagogy (2007 - 2011).
Haykuhi Karapetyan, Programs' Assistant
Haykuhi has been employed by YMCA ANU since September 2011 combining the position of Spitak YMCA Programs' Assistant. She joined YMCA movement in 2004 as Spitak YMCA English Program leader and Spitak YMCA Programs’ Assistant later on. She has volunteered and participated in a number of YMCA trainings, camps, and exchange programs both in Armenia and abroad. Prior to her engagement in the YMCA movement she worked for.Lori's Agricultural Support Regional Centre CJSC located in Spitak (2004) and the Italian Embassy to Armenia (2003). Haykuhi is a graduate of Yerevan State Linguistic University after V. Bryusov (1998 - 2003).
Lina Khoyetsyan, Chief Accountant
Lina is an economist, graduated from Yerevan State Institute of Economy, Financial-accounting faculty and has received a Diploma of Accounting and Audit. She has over 10 years of intensive experience working in accounting sphere with non-profit organizations, international and other organizations. While working in part time for YMCA, Lina also works for Civic Development and Partnership Foundation as a Chief Accountant. She has taken various professional training courses, including a Banking business course of The Central Bank of Armenia Banking Educational Centre, ACCA course, computer accounting course of Armenian Software, etc.
Arkadi Simonyan, ANUY Marketing and PR officer
Since February, 2012 Arkadi is responsible for the ANUY Marketing and PR. In 2006-2011 he worked for “OFMA” CJSC as a net and system administrator. In 2003-2006 Arkadi worked as a UDAIS/HPI and in 2003 USAID/CRS Computer Course Organizer. In 1999-2001 he served in the Armenian Army. Arkadi graduated from the Armenian State Agrarian University, Department of Electrification and Automation of Agriculture with the qualification of an engineer in 2008. In 1999 and 2003 Arkadi participated in UNO Development Program Public Development Program Computer Courses and received the qualification of a net administrator. computer accounting course of Armenian Software, etc.
